Our Team

Eric Cumley, CFP®

Eric began his career as a professional wealth manager in early 2000. Over the years, he has successfully guided clients and their families through a variety of different market environments—some of which have been the most challenging ever faced by the US economy.

The experience he gained during the ‘tech wreck’ of 2000, the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01, the Enron and WorldCom bankruptcies, the 2008/’09 subprime mortgage meltdown, and most recently the COVID-19 crash of 2020 strongly informs the advice he provides Olympic’s clients today.

Because the world of finance is so complex, Eric approaches his work carefully. He is thorough, deliberate, proactive, and known for his attention to detail. For example, in the area of investment planning he recommends institutional-grade portfolio strategies which are actively-managed and tailored to Olympic’s clients by Envestnet’s Research Team.

In May 2018 Eric was presented with the prestigious Essential Advisor Award at the 2018 Advisor Summit hosted by Envestnet (NYSE: ENV) and Investment Advisor Magazine.

Eric was selected from nearly 60,000 financial advisors nationwide who utilize the Envestnet platform. He was evaluated on numerous criteria including practice management standards, technology adoption, financial planning disciplines, and more.
